The MIDI I wood lathe is a very versatile wood lathe. Its weight of 43 kg makes it portable and ideal for demonstrations at markets and events. The balanced shafts and high-quality bearings, in combination with a 1 HP frequency-controlled motor, ensure very quiet running. Whether it concerns turning pens at high speed or turning a bowl, you will not be short of power. With a 350mm diameter above the bed you can turn a nice bowl.
Like all wood lathes from the KS series, this one also has a main spindle with an M33x3.5mm mounting, on which screw plates or a chuck/jaw chuck can be mounted.
