Sample set consisting of 50 g coarse sanding paste, 50 g fine sanding paste and 100 ml friction polish.

This surface finishing set consists of two abrasive pastes, coarse and fine, and the friction polishing compound from König Holz & Harz. The coarse sanding paste sands the surface to approximately grit 1000, the fine sanding paste sands the workpiece to approximately grit 10000. The friction polish provides a glossy finish, is extremely robust, can be applied within a few minutes and then dries immediately.

The paste and polish are suitable for hardwood, stabilized wood and epoxy resin. The size of the workpiece does not matter, just follow the steps below.

The polish is made from mineral oils, alcohols and natural resins. The pastes consist of natural oils, orange oil, natural waxes and mineral abrasives, for finishing wood and resin. All products are "Made in Germany".

Instruction sanding paste wood & resin coarse

Work on the lathe:

Sanding up to 400 grit, optional fast sanding primer.

Apply the paste with a soft cloth (easily tearing, e.g. kitchen towel) without running the machine's motor.

Then sand at a speed of 800 to 1000 revolutions per minute. Spread the paste until no residue is visible on the cloth.

Work on larger objects:

For larger surfaces, apply a small amount of grinding paste to a medium hard polishing sponge, start at approx. 800-1000 rpm. Sand until no residue remains.

If the desired result has not yet been achieved, repeat this process.

Now the surface is ready for the usual finishing.
