The MIDI II PLUS wood lathe is a very versatile wood lathe and successor to the widely acclaimed MIDI I and the improved II. Due to its weight of 51 kg it is still portable. The extra weight compared to the MIDI II PLUS is in the widened bed, which provides even more stability than the MIDI I already had. The balanced shafts and 3 high-quality bearings, in combination with a 1 HP frequency-controlled motor, ensure very quiet running. Whether it concerns turning pens at high speed or turning a bowl, you will not be short of power. With a 350mm diameter above the bed you can turn a nice bowl.
The electronic engine brake is also new on this machine.
Like all wood lathes from the KS series, this one also has a main spindle with an M33x3.5mm mounting, on which screw plates or a chuck/jaw chuck can be mounted. It
